FAQ

  • This experience is designed for intermediate to advanced runners who are comfortable spending 4–5 hours on the trails. You don’t need to race competitively, but a good level of fitness and previous trail running experience are recommended.

  • The groups are intentionally kept small (max. 12) to create a more personal experience and allow direct interaction with Núria Picas throughout the week.

  • The experience includes accommodation, breakfast, selected dinners, daily guided trail running, workshops, yoga, spa sessions, airport transfers and transportation to and from the running routes.

Optional activities such as kayaking or sea eagle safaris can be added separately.

  • The main airport in Lofotenis Evenes. It’s also possible to fly to Svolvær or Leknes airport.
Airport transfers to and from Skårungen are included in the experience.

  • Absolutely. Many participants join solo, and the experience is designed to create a close and supportive group atmosphere.

  • Participants will stay at Skårungen in shared cabins or hotel rooms, depending on the selected option.

  • A detailed equipment list will be shared before arrival, but we recommend:

    • Trail running shoes with good grip

    • Waterproof jacket

    • Layering system

    • Small running backpack with hydration

    • Suitable clothing for changing weather conditions

  • Weather in Lofoten can change quickly, especially in September. Expect a mix of sun, wind, rain and cooler temperatures throughout the week.

  • Flexibility is part of the experience in Lofoten. Routes and activities may be adjusted depending on weather and safety conditions.

  • Three dinners at Skårungen are included during the week.

The remaining evenings are intentionally left open to give participants the opportunity to explore nearby fishing villages such as Henningsvær and discover local restaurants and cafés at their own pace.

We believe this balance creates a more flexible and authentic Lofoten experience beyond the trails.

  • No, flights are not included.

  • September marks the beginning of the Northern Lights season in Lofoten. While sightings can never be guaranteed, conditions during this time of year can offer a good chance to experience them.
